Writing layout

The homepage and topic archives use a 1320px outer width. The homepage introduction shares the writing section's edges, and the navbar aligns with those same edges. On desktop each row has a two-column artwork with an overlaid caption, plus two text-only stories stacked in the third column. Alternating rows put the artwork on the right. Below 951px the artwork sits above two side-by-side stories; below 651px all entries stack. Article reading widths are unchanged.

Each consecutive group of three entries in _data/writing.json becomes a row with one illustrated story and two titles and descriptions alongside it. The first eligible story with an image is selected automatically.

Optional featured booleans on an entry override that selection:

• true: prefer this entry as its group's illustrated story. If multiple entries request it, the first one wins, keeping one image per row.
• false: render this entry as text only, unless no other entry in its group has artwork. Every group with any artwork keeps one illustration.
• Omitted: eligible for automatic selection.

The selected story comes first within its group; the remaining stories keep their original order. A group with no eligible image remains text only. Full artwork stays on every article regardless of its list treatment.

The homepage reveals two more groups on scroll. Keyboard navigation and links to article IDs also reveal the required groups; without JavaScript all entries remain visible. Topic filters hide individual entries and empty groups.
